What these benchmarks measure

The pages use official FSO Earnings Structure Survey distributions by broad occupation and gross region. They show annualised gross-pay reference ranges and a transparent percentile comparison; they do not calculate taxes, deductions or net salary.

Important limits

A city is represented by its wider FSO gross region, and each role is mapped to a broad CH-ISCO occupation group. Experience bands are derived from distribution percentiles. Individual employers, specialties, bonuses and contract conditions may differ materially.
